Shannon's New Toy

We have had a blast snowmobiling with friends this winter and decided its time to get another machine so we can all actually ride, I had been using this one of a friends who we go with alot and they were going to sell it so we jumped on it its a really nice and very well kept machine! Now we just need a little more snow so I can ride it at least once until I have to look at it in the garage all summer.

Warning "Hottie" on a bike

Brad is going to kill me for this one, but he doesnt look at my blog any way. Brad bought a cycling bike a few months ago and has been really enjoying it he does not have the fancy riding outfits yet but I am sure those will come. He rides almost everyday now that the weather is nicer with some friends and hopes to do a Century ride (100 miles) this summer. Oh and he was mad I was taking his picture so he was trying to leave and I got the back side of him.

We were so excited to have a new member of the family Kaleigh Hatch! Torrie helped Megan give her a bath and after she "pooped" in the tub twice they decided bath time was over!

I DID IT!!

6.2 miles, one ugly race shirt, a few sore muscles from the down hill course out of Snow Canyon State Park, and I have my first 10k under my running shoes. What an amazing run this was, coming down out of Snow Canyon early morning the sight of hundreds of runners winding there way down the downhill trail out of the beautiful red rocks.
Now what? Well I told my sister a long time ago if I ever said the word "Marathon" to remind me that I swore to her I never wanted to do one of those, well I still dont! But I do think I might attempt a "Half" marathon, plans now to just keep running and improving and one day she may just make me eat my words!

Silly Girls!!

Volley Ball

Kyndall hung up her green belt for a while to try something new Volley Ball! She started on her schools team last fall and is now playing on a club team and loving it, it has been so fun to watch how much she has improved and how Tall she is getting. She wears the same size shoe I do and is 11, so watch out for her on the court in the years to come.
